The Office of the Capitol Commission and the Nebraska Department of Veterans’ Affairs are hosting a Veteran’s Day program to commemorate the laying of the cornerstone for the Nebraska State Capitol dedicating Bertram Goodhue’s monumental building to the memory of those who fell in service to their country. the program will begin on November 11, 2022 with prelude music by the USAF Heartland of American Brass at 10:30 with the ceremony beginning at 11:00 a.m. The program is free and open to the public and will be livestreamed by Nebraska Public Media.
