The Nebraska State Capitol is host to a variety of public and governmental events each year. Official functions of government have priority for use of the capitol. Requests for use of the capitol by non-profit and not-for-profit groups with state-wide or larger scope are reviewed based on guidelines established by the Office of the Capitol Commission. Requests to hold an event at the capitol are made by filling out a Facility Use Permit available from the Office of the Capitol Commission by calling (402)471-0449. A minimum of two weeks noticed is required for events at the Capitol.
