The Nebraska State Capitol is host to a variety of public and governmental events each year. Official functions of government have priority for use of the capitol. Requests for events at the capitol by non-profit and not-for-profit groups with state-wide or larger scope are reviewed based on guidelines established by the Office of the Capitol Commission.
Use of the Capitol and Grounds for commercial purposes is not allowed.
All Capitol event requests, including rallies, are made by filling out a Facility Use Permit available from the Office of the Capitol Commission by calling (402)471-0449. A minimum of two weeks noticed is requested for events at the Capitol.
