  • Monday ‐ Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Saturday ⁄ Holidays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1 to 5 p.m.
  • Guided tours have been temporarily suspended due to the COVID19 pandemic and need to maintain social distancing
  • Open every day except Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
  • Observation decks on the 14th floor, use north elevators, are open during public building hours as weather conditions permit. Call (402)471-0448.
  • When free guided tours resume they will be offered Monday – Friday at 9:00, 10:00, and 11:00 a.m., and at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. Saturdays and Holidays at 10:00 and 11:00 a.m. and at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 p.m. Sundays at 1:00, 2:00, 3:00 and 4:00 p.m.
  • The Capitol’s grounds and promenade deck are open for passive use during daylight hours as weather permits. The main north entrance on K Street and the upper promenade deck around the    Capitol are closed once temperatures are below freezing, or after the first snow of the season, generally mid-October through mid-April.
