The Nebraska Latino American Commission will host a photo exhibit in the first floor rotunda of the Capitol from October 3 - 15, 2025. The event will focus on the culture, art and history of Mexico during Hispanic Heritage Month September 15 - October 15.

The Nebraska Oncology Society will host a rally and march around the Capitol at 7:00 p.m. on Friday October 10, 2025. The weather dependent event on the West Plaza will draw attention to the importance of breast cancer screening.

The Nebraska State Capitol will be open for tours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. on October 13, 2025.

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will showcase Nebraska's reptile population in an exhibit in the first floor rotunda of the Capitol from October 16 - 31, 2025. The exhibit will focus on the 4 different habitat zones in the state and will showcase student art. No live animals will be on display.

There will be a vigil and walk around the Capitol at 10:00 a.m. on Friday October 17, 2025 to draw attention to missing persons in Nebraska. There will be speakers on the north plaza, and families of he missing will carry posters of their loved ones.

The Telugu Samiti of Nebraska will host a Legacy of Light: Diwali Cultural Showcase in the 2nr floor rotunda of he Capitol on Monday October 20, 2025 from 12:15 - 12:45 p.m. The program will include music and dancing, poetry and a narration of the cultural significance of Diwali.

The Administrative Offices of the Courts and Probation will swear in new probation officers in the Capitol rotunda on Thursday October 23, 2025 at 1:30 p.m.

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services will have the exterior tower of the Capitol lit red  on October 24, 2025 to raise awareness for Drug Prevention Month.

The Nebraska Supreme Court will present the Administrative Office of Courts and Probation Judicial Branch Recognition Years of Service Awards in the 2nd floor rotunda of the Capitol at 10:00 and at 2:00 p.m.

The Nebraska Board of Architects and Engineers will hold a licensing ceremony for architects and professional engineers in the 2nd floor rotunda on Friday November 7, 2025 at 3:00 p.m.
