The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments on proposed REPEAL of Title 180 Chapter 12, of the Nebraska Administrative Code (NAC) – Licensing Requirements for Management of Radioactive Waste. These regulations govern the procedures, criteria, and terms and conditions for issuing licenses for low level radioactive waste management facilities. The regulations are proposed for REPEAL in their entirety as the regulations are unnecessary due to there being no current or planned low level radioactive waste facilities in Nebraska.
