The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments on proposed changes to Title 469 Nebraska Administrative Code (NAC) 1 – 4 – Assistance to the Aged, Blind, or Disabled Program. The proposed changes to the regulations: remove any repeat of statutory language or internal direction to staff from the regulations; update terminology and formatting; add a special diet allowance; allow for a budget deduction of prescription co-payments and costs associated with special diets; and remove any regulations that were applicable only to individuals receiving Medicaid, as those services are covered in the Division of Medicaid and Long-Term Care regulations.
