The purpose of this hearing is to receive comments on proposed changes to Title 180, Chapter 2 of the Nebraska Administrative Code (NAC) – Registration of Radiation Generating Equipment Facilities and Services. The regulations govern the registration of radiation generating equipment facilities and the registration of persons installing, repairing, calibrating, demonstrating, and selling radiation generating equipment. The proposed changes merge two categories of service registration for entities that provide consultation and radiation shielding review services to x-ray equipment registrants; remove duplicative statutory language from the regulation; and update formatting.
