On December 15, 2023 at 1:30 p.m. the Nebraska Military Department will celebrate the 387th anniversary of the founding, in 1636, of the first militia regiments in North America organized in Massachusetts. The Nebraska National Guard will be recognized as part of the long and storied history of service to the state and nation in a second floor rotunda program.
