Independence Day Holiday Capitol Open for Tours

The Nebraska State Capitol will be open for guided tours on July 4, 2023 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. State Government offices are closed on July 4.

Monday ‐ Friday: 8 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Saturday ⁄ Holidays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
Sunday: 1 to 5 p.m.

The tower and observation decks will be closed due to HVAC construction. Memorial Chamber information and observation deck views available here.
Open every day except Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day. Open Holidays follow Saturday schedule.
