Title 178 NAC 2 – Operation and Management of Public Swimming Pools
The proposed changes streamline the regulations by removing all duplicative statutory regulation from the regulations and combine the current Chapters 2 and 4 into one chapter of regulations. The proposed regulations also add clarification when plans and specifications are needed to be submitted; revise cyanuric acid levels to 90 ppm; add design standards for sunledges and underwater shelves; allow for other layouts for bathhouses without requiring a variance; and clarify deck areas space and the allowances within the deck area space.
The following regulation is proposed for REPEAL in its entirety. The relevant portions of the current Chapter 4 are being moved into the proposed amendments to Chapter 2.
