Capitol Events

Governor's Proclamations will be presented in ground floor Hearing Room #1524.

The Capitol tower will be illuminated with red light to draw attention to heart disease as the number one killer of women.

The Native Youth Alliance will hold a prayer vigil as they walk around the Capitol from 6:30 - 8:00 a.m. on Monday Feb. 10. They will stop at each entry sidewalk to pray.

Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation will have an information booth in the first floor rotunda of the Nebraska State Capitol.

The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War will post an honor guard at the Lincoln Monument on the West Plaza.

The Frontier Strings violinists from the Omaha Conservancy of Music will perform in the 2nd floor rotunda on February 13 at noon to celebrate Arts Advocacy Day in the Capitol.

The Capitol will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for tours.  State offices are closed.

The Capitol will be closed on Saturday February 29, 2020 to allow the Nebraskaland Foundation to hold their Statehood Day Awards Program.
