Capitol Events

The Nebraska Music Education Association will host student choirs and instrumental groups for noon hour concerts in the second floor rotunda to celebrate Music Education Week.

The Capitol will be closed on Saturday February 29, 2020 to allow the Nebraskaland Foundation to hold their Statehood Day Awards Program.

the Brain Injury Alliance of Nebraska will have a display of masks created by individuals with brain injuries in first floor rotunda.

The Nebraska Music Educators will sponsor the University of Nebraska Singers in a noontime concert in the 2nd floor rotunda of the Capitol in conjunction with Collegiate Hill Day. The 60 voice choral group will perform for 30 - 40 minutes.

The University of Nebraska will sponsor a week long display showcasing facts about the University of Nebraska.  March 10th is I Love NU Day.

The Nebraska Art Teacher's Association will showcase student artwork in the first floor rotunda.

Governor's Proclamations will be presented in ground floor Hearing Room #1524

The American Foundation for Suicide Prevention will have a display in first floor rotunda from March 11-13 with representation from prevention groups across Nebraska.
