Constitution Week Display

First Floor Display

The St. Leger Cowley Chapter of the National Society of the Daughters of the American Revolution will have a display in the first floor rotunda to remember the ratification of the United States Constitution on September 17, 1787.

New Attorney Swearing-In Ceremony

2nd Floor Rotunda

The Nebraska Supreme Court will swear-in new attorneys in a 2nd floor rotunda ceremony on September 25, 2025 at 2:00 p.m.

Nebraska Recovery Month Event

Capitol Grounds

The Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services will hold an event to bring awareness to recovery from mental health or substance abuse challenges from Noon to 4:00 p.m. on Sunday September 28, 2025 on the north plaza of the Capitol.

Every Child Matters Event

Capitol Grounds

The Ponca Tribe of Nebraska will hold an Every Child Matters awareness walk around the Capitol on Tuesday September 30, 2025 at 11:00 a.m. with stops on the north and west plazas of the Capitol.

2025 Teammates Recognition Programs

2nd Floor Rotunda

The Nebraska Department of Administrative Services will recognize state teammates' years of service in programs help on Thursday October 2, 2025 at 9:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. in the 2nd floor rotunda of the Capitol.

Hispanic Heritage Month Photo Exhibit

First Floor Display

The Nebraska Latino American Commission will host a photo exhibit in the first floor rotunda of the Capitol from October 3 - 15, 2025. The event will focus on the culture, art and history of Mexico during Hispanic Heritage Month September 15 - October 15.

Breast Cancer Awareness Rally

The Nebraska Oncology Society will host a rally and march around the Capitol at 7:00 p.m. on Friday October 10, 2025. The weather dependent event on the West Plaza will draw attention to the importance of breast cancer screening.

Nebraska Reptile Month Display

First Floor Display

The Nebraska Game and Parks Commission will showcase Nebraska's reptile population in an exhibit in the first floor rotunda of the Capitol from October 16 - 31, 2025. The exhibit will focus on the 4 different habitat zones in the state and will showcase student art. No live animals will be on display.

Nebraska Missing Persons Day
