Capitol Events

The League of Women's Voters of Nebraska will have a Celebration of the 100th Anniversary of the 19th Amendment and the League in the first floor rotunda.

Beyond School Bells will have a display in first floor rotunda to raise awareness about after school and summer programs focusing on science technology and engineering.

The Native Youth Alliance will hold a prayer vigil as they walk around the Capitol from 6:30 - 8:00 a.m. on Monday Feb. 10. They will stop at each entry sidewalk to pray.

Nebraska Vocational Rehabilitation will have an information booth in the first floor rotunda of the Nebraska State Capitol.

The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War will post an honor guard at the Lincoln Monument on the West Plaza.

The Frontier Strings violinists from the Omaha Conservancy of Music will perform in the 2nd floor rotunda on February 13 at noon to celebrate Arts Advocacy Day in the Capitol.

The National Association of Social Workers-Nebraska will have a display in the first floor rotunda.

The Capitol will be open from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for tours.  State offices are closed.

The Nebraska Music Education Association will host student choirs and instrumental groups for noon hour concerts in the second floor rotunda to celebrate Music Education Week.

The Capitol will be closed on Saturday February 29, 2020 to allow the Nebraskaland Foundation to hold their Statehood Day Awards Program.
