To promote the importance of music education in Nebraska's schools the Nebraska Music Education Association will sponsor a series of noon concerts in the Capitol 2nd floor Rotunda Monday March 18 through Thursday March 21.

World Downs Syndrome Day

The Capitol tower will be lit yellow and blue, weather and roof conditions allowing, for the Downs  Syndrome Association of Families the evening of Thursday March 21, 2024 in recognition of World Downs Syndrome Day.

Youth Art Awards Ceremony

The Nebraska Art Teachers Association Youth Art Month State Celebration will be held in the second floor rotunda of the Capitol from 2:00 to 4:00 p.m. on Saturday March 23, 2024.

Problem Gambling Awareness Month Display

First Floor Display

Creating Family Choices under contract with the State of Nebraska will display information regarding problem gambling and problem gambling treatment in the 1st floor rotunda of the Nebraska State Capitol from March 25 - 29, 2024. 1% of the Nebraska Lottery proceeds go to the Compulsive Gamblers Assistance Program.

Nebraska Voter ID Education Display

The Nebraska Secretary of State's Office will have a display of educational materials regarding Nebraska's new Voter ID law in the first floor rotunda from March 25 through April 4, 2024.

Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women Display

Civic Nebraska and the Nebraska Writers Collective will sponsor a display featuring student artwork and poetry drawing attention to Missing and Murdered Indigenous Women in the first floor rotunda from April 1 - 7, 2024.
