The Chabad of Nebraska is sponsoring a Chanuka lighting ceremony in the 2nd floor rotunda on Tuesday December 12 at 11:00 a.m.

The University of Nebraska Tuba/Euphonium Studio will hold a holiday tuba concert in the 2nd floor rotunda at 12:00 p.m. on Tuesday December 12.

The University of Nebraska Husker Horn Choir will perform holiday music in the 2nd floor rotunda of the  Capitol on Wednesday December 13th at noon. Alan Mattingly, Professor and Chair of Music in the Glenn Korff School of Music, will lead the French Horns in this 45 minute holiday concert.

The Nebraska State Patrol will celebrate the graduation of Camp 68 at a 10:00 a.m. ceremony in the 2nd floor rotunda of the Capitol on Friday December, 15.

The University of Nebraska Air Force ROTC Detachment 465 will hold a commissioning ceremony in the 2nd floor rotunda from 1:00 - 2:00 p.m. on Saturday December 16.

On December 16 at 3:00 p.m. La Dolce Vita concert will be held in the 2nd floor rotunda. The concert will feature a flute and guitar duo performing in front of the State's Christmas Tree.

The Nebraska State Capitol will be closed to the public on Monday December 25 to recognize the Christmas holiday.

The Capitol Cafe operated by Mulberry BBQ will be closed on Friday December 29. the Dining Room is expected to reopen on Tuesday January 2, 2024.

The Nebraska Hemp Company will sponsor a Hemp Education display in the first floor of the Capitol from January 2 - 14, 2024.
