The annual joint meeting of the Nebraska Capitol Commission and the Capitol Environs Commission will be held in Hearing Room #1507 at 10:00 a.m. The Nebraska Capitol Commission will meet in Room #1507 following the joint meeting. The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War, Nebraska Chapter will honor Abraham Lincoln with a program at the Lincoln Monument on the West Plaza of the Capitol on Saturday November 20, 2021 at 10:30 a.m.

Commissioner’s Recognition of Student Excellence

The Department of Education Center for Student Leadership and Expanded Learning will honor students for excellence in vocational education on Monday November 22, 2021 at a 2:30 p.m. program in the 2nd floor Rotunda.

Capitol Closed for Thanksgiving Holiday

The Capitol will be closed on Thursday November 25, 2021and Friday November 26, 2021in observance of the Thanksgiving holiday. The Capitol will reopen for free guided tours on Saturday November 27, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.

Nebraska State Patrol Camp 65 will hold their graduation ceremony in the 2nd floor Rotunda of the Capitol on Friday December 17, 2021 at 10:00 a.m.
