The Malcolm X Memorial Foundation will sponsor an educational display in first floor rotunda during Black History Month. The display about the life of Malcolm X will be from February 23 - March 1, 2024.

The Nebraska Chapter of the American Foundation of Suicide Prevention will have an awareness display in the first floor rotunda of the Capitol from February 26 - March 1, 2024 in partnership with the Northeast Nebraska Suicide Prevention Coalition, the Northwest Suicide Prevention Coalition, the Kim Foundation, and the National Alliance on Mental Illness.
