This spring Peregrine Falcons have return to nest at the Nebraska State Capitol. There are two ways to keep up with the nesting pair, go to the facebook page dedicated to the Capitol Peregrines, or go to the Outdoor Nebraska webpage to view the falcon camera located on top of the Nebraska State Capitol for two different views of the nest box. The female Peregrine, called the falcon, is sitting on three eggs now, but it’s possible another one could be laid. The male peregrine or tercel, will bring her food as she incubates the eggs. Hopefully in about one month, mid-May, eyas or baby Peregrines will appear.
