Nebraska’s 149th birthday is being celebrated with the arts. This week, the Nebraska Art Teachers Association and the Nebraska Music Educators Association are presenting Capitol activities featuring Nebraska’s youth celebrating the arts. The Music Educators are sponsoring a series of noon time concerts in the 2nd floor rotunda of the Nebraska State Capitol February 29 – March 4, and the Art Teachers are displaying selected artwork by students from across the state in the 1st floor rotunda. The art exhibit and noon concerts are free and open to the public. Monday, February 29th
