One Peregrine falcon chick. This morning the sighting of a small white fluffy object in the Capitol’s Peregrine falcon nest was reported. Watch the falcon cam and confirm for yourself. Hopefully the little eyas, as the chicks are called, will be joined soon by three other siblings. Then the fun will begin as the falcon (female) and tercel (male) hunt frequently to feed the growing eyas. Bird body parts will soon be a regular feature on the falcon cam. Keep watching.
