Even though some horticulturalists predict a less than spectacular fall show of color this year, due to the drought, the observation decks on top of the Capitol are still the place to come to see fall color. Now that summer is officially over, please plan to come to the Capitol and get a bird’s eye view of Lincoln’s urban forest and its changing colors. Weather conditions allowing, and who isn’t praying for rain, the observation decks are open Monday through Friday from 8:00 a.m. till 5:00 p.m., Saturdays and weekday Holidays from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and Sundays from 1:00 to 5:00 p.m. The two north elevators will take visitors up to the observation decks to see city of Lincoln in its autumn attire.[RoyalSlider Error] No post attachments found.
