The Nebraska Latino-American Commission is sponsoring a Day of the Dead exhibit in the first floor rotunda of the Capitol from October 24 - November 4. The Day of the Dead exhibit will focus on the culture, art history and significance of traditional Latin American holiday.

The Capitol will be open for public tours on Friday November 11, 2022 from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. for the Veterans Day holiday. The Nebraska Department of Veterans Affairs will have the tower of the Capitol lit green from dusk until 10:30 p.m. to honor veterans. State offices will be closed.
