The Nebraska Turtle Heart Society will hold a rally on the West Plaza of the Nebraska State Capitol on Sunday January 24, 2021at noon recognizing the fight is not over for the rights of the First Peoples of the Americas.

Voices for Children in Nebraska will display highlights from the Kids Count 2020 Report in a first floor rotunda display from February 1 through 5th.

The Arc of Nebraska will have a display in the first floor rotunda from February 1 - 5, 2021 to celebrate Disability Inclusion in Nebraska.

The Nebraska State College System will celebrate the accomplishments of Nebraska's State Colleges in a first floor rotunda display from February 8-15.

The Nebraska Unicameral Legislature will be in recess February 12 - 15.

The Sons of Union Veterans of the Civil War will honor Abraham Lincoln's birthday by standing vigil at the Lincoln Monument on the West Plaza of the Nebraska State Capitol on Friday February 12, 2021 from 8:00 a.m. until Noon.

The Capitol will be open for free guided tours beginning at 10:00 a.m. at the north entrance on second floor.

The Legislature will be in recess February 22.

Nebraska celebrates its 154th anniversary of statehood on March 1, 2021. Nebraska was admitted to the United States as the 37th state.
