Capitol GroundsNo Limits Nebraska will sponsor an anti-tobacco youth rally on the north plaza of the Capitol from 4:00 - 5:30 p.m.
Juneteenth Holiday Observed
In recognition of the new federal Juneteenth holiday on June 19 all state offices will be closed on Friday June 18. the Capitol will be open for normal holiday hours from 10:00 a.m. to 5:00 p.m. and tours will be offered hourly except at noon.
Nebraska State Patrol Camp 64 Graduation
The Nebraska State Patrol will hold a graduation ceremony for the Camp 64 recruits in the 2nd floor Rotunda of the Capitol at 10:00 a.m. on Friday June 18, 2021. The one hour program will celebrate the achievements of Nebraska's newest State Troopers.
Celebration of Neihardt 100th Anniversary
The John G. Neihardt Foundation will recognize the 100th anniversary of John G. Neihardt being honored as Nebraska Poet Laureate in a 30 minute program beginning at 1:00 p.m. in the Great Hall at Neihardt's Hall of Fame bust.
Star City Pride Parade 2021
Capitol GroundsStar City Pride will hold a parade at the Nebraska State Capitol on June 19, 2021. Streets around the Capitol will be closed and the group will use the Noerth Plaza for program activities.
Gastroschisis Awareness Day
