Teammate Recognition

2nd Floor Rotunda

The Department of Administrative Services will hold the 2024 Teammate Recognition ceremonies in the second floor rotunda on October 22, 2024. The 10:00 a.m. and 1:00 p.m. ceremonies will recognize teammate's years of service to the State of Nebraska.

New Probation Officer Swearing-In

The Administrative Office of the Courts and Probation will swear-in new probation officers at a 1:30 p.m. ceremony on October 24, 2024. The ceremony will take place in the second floor rotunda.

Judicial Branch Employee Recognition

The Nebraska Supreme Court will present Judicial Branch Employee Recognition Awards in a second floor rotunda ceremony on October 29, 2024 at 2:00 p.m.

Engineers’ and Architects’ Licensing Ceremony

2024 Lincoln Veterans Parade

The Nebraska Department of Veterans Affairs will light the Capitol green in honor of Nebraska's veterans. The Capitol tower will be illuminated with green light at dusk on November 11, 2024.

Capitol Closed Thanksgivng and Friday After

The Capitol will be closed for the Thanksgiving holiday on Thursday Thanksgiving Day and the Friday after. The Capitol will open for tours on Saturday.
