The Nebraska Latino American Commission will have a display about the Day of the Dead celebration in the first floor rotunda.

The Nebraska Department of Education encourages everyone in the state to "crunch" a carrot, apple or other crunchy produce at 2:00 p.m. as part of the Mountain Plains nine state celebration of October as Farm to School Month. The event will take place on the Capitol's steps and other locations across the state. |
