The Nebraska State Patrol will commemorate Peace Officers Memorial Day May 15, 2025 with a first floor rotunda display of Nebraska Troopers who were killed in the line of duty.

Families Inspiring Families will hold a rally on the north plaza of the Nebraska State Capitol on Saturday May 17 from 12:30 - 3:00 p.m.. A motorcycle 'Pony Express' will bring letters supporting children's mental health to be delivered to government leaders during the event.

The University of Nebraska Naval ROTC program will commission six new officers in the 2nd floor rotunda of the Capitol on Saturday May 17 at 12:00 p.m.
