DHHS Awards Ceremony
2nd Floor RotundaThursday April 21, the Nebraska Department of Health and Human Services will hold their annual teammates awards program in the 2nd floor rotunda of the Capitol at 2:00 p.m.

Capitol GroundsEmbrace Nebraska will hold an Earth Day Strike on the North Plaza of the Capitol on April 22 from 4:00 - 6:00 p.m. Project Animal Freedom will join their Vegan Climate March with the day's events.
UNL Out of Darkness Walk
Capitol GroundsThe UNL Out of Darkness Chapter of the American Foundation for Suicide Prevention Nebraska will hold a UNL Out of Darkness Campus Walk on April 24 from 10:00 a.m. - Noon. The group will begin on campus, walk to the Capitol for a rally and return to campus.
Worker’s Memorial Day Vigil
Capitol GroundsNebraska's annual Workers' Memorial Day Vigil honoring those men and women who have been killed or fatally injured at work will be held on the north plaza of the Capitol from 6:30 - 9:00 p.m.

Mayor’s Run
Capitol GroundsThe Lincoln Track Club will host the annual Lincoln Mayor's Run for grade school age children on the closed streets around the Capitol on Saturday April 30 with heats beginning at 8:00 a.m.
Drug Take Back
Capitol GroundsThe Nebraska Attorney General and the Drug Enforcement Agency will host an event for the disposal of unused and unneeded drugs on April 30 from Noon - 2:00 p.m. on the north side of the Capitol along K Street.
State Holocaust Commemoration
2nd Floor RotundaThe Jewish Federation of Lincoln and the Institute for Holocaust Education will hold the State Holocaust Commemoration in the second floor rotunda on Sunday May 1, 2022 at 3:00 p.m.
National Day of Prayer Observance
2nd Floor RotundaThe Nebraska National Day of Prayer and the Nebraska Family Alliance will hold a National Day of Prayer Observance in the Capitol Rotunda on Thursday May 5 from 12:00 - 1:00 p.m.
“English” Honors Day Ceremony
2nd Floor RotundaThe Nebraska English Language Arts Council will hold a poetry reading and awards ceremony in the 2nd floor rotunda of the Capitol on Friday May 6 at 4:00 p.m. Teachers and students will be honored for their dedication to language arts.
