On September 29 at 10:00 a.m. the Ponca Tribe of Nebraska's Domestic Violence Program will begin and end a march on the sidewalks around the Capitol on the north plaza. It will feature  singers and drummers and end with a gathering and prayer.

The ACLU of Nebraska will hold a rally for trans rights on the north plaza of the Nebraska State Capitol on Sunday October 1, 2024 at 1:00 p.m.

The Nebraska Administrative Offices of the Courts and Probation will swear in new probation officers in the second floor rotunda at 1:30 p.m. on Thursday October 5, 2023.

The Intertribal Medicine Collective will celebrate and acknowledge October 9, 2023 as Indigenous People's Day with speakers on the north plaza of the Nebraska State Capitol and then a march around the Capitol on the public sidewalks. the group will be on the Capitol grounds from 8:00 a.m. until 10:00 a.m.

The Capitol will be open for holiday hours on Monday October 9, 2023.

Men will come together on the north plaza of the Nebraska State Capitol on Saturday October 14, 2023 from 11:00 a.m. to 12:30 p.m. for reflection and prayer.

Workers from the Lincoln Regional Center will hold a march around the Capitol and then a rally on the north plaza on Saturday October 21 from 11:00 am to 1:00 pm.

The Nebraska Department of Transportation is sponsoring an educational display in the first floor rotunda from October 23 - 27 in conjunction with Governor Jim Pillen proclaiming "Buckle Up Phone Down Week".

The Nebraska Department of Administrative Services-State Personnel Division will hold the 2023 Governor's Excellence in State Service Awards in the 2nd floor rotunda of the Nebraska State Capitol on October 26, 2023. McPhee Elementary School students will march around the Capitol on October 27 at 2:30 p.m. with a stop on the north steps to recite a drug free pledge before they return to the school.
