DESCRIPTION:The American Legion Department of Nebraska will end a statewide motorcycle escort carrying the United States flag from Scottsbluff to Lincoln in honor of the 250th birthday of the United States in 2nd floor rotunda of the State Capitol at 4:00 p.m. on Sunday June 14\, 2026. Following the Flag Day ceremony in the rotunda the flag will be raised on the flagpole at the Capitol where it will fly until Independence Day. The flag will then be put on display at the American Legion Nebraska Headquarters.
