DESCRIPTION:The Nebraska Hall of Fame Commission will induct Malcolm X\, born Malcolm Little\, as the 27th member of the Nebraska Hall of Fame. The induction ceremony will be held on May 22\, 2024 in the Warner Chamber of the Capitol at 1:00 p.m. The ceremony will be live-streamed by Nebraska Public Media. Members of the Hall of Fame Commission\, representatives of the Malcolm X Foundation\, and the artist will be present for the ceremony to unveil Nathan Murray’s bronze bust of the human rights advocate born in Omaha. A reception will follow at the History Nebraska Museum. The event is open to the public in person or live-streamed.
