On March 1, 1867 Nebraska became the 37th state in the United States.

The United States Citizenship and Immigration Office will hold a Naturalization Ceremony in the second floor rotunda of the Nebraska State Capitol on Nebraska Statehood Day, March 1, at 2:00 p.m.

The NEBRASKAland Foundation will host the Annual State Fair Student Educational Competition Recognition Ceremony in the 2nd floor rotunda of the Nebraska State Capitol on Friday March 3, 2023 at 1:00 p.m.

The NEBRASKAland Foundation will host the annual Nebraskaland Awards ceremony in the Capitol on Saturday March 4, 2023. The Capitol will be closed.

Beyond School Bells will host agencies from across the state to raise awareness about innovative afterschool and summer learning opportunities for Nebraska youth in the first floor rotunda during a week long display from March 6 - 10, 2023.

Nebraska Thespians will hold a Theater in our Schools Day event in the Capitol on March 7, 2023 with a musical performance in the 2nd floor rotunda at 12:15 p.m.

The Nebraska State College System will have a March 10 - 17, 2023 display in the first floor rotunda of the Nebraska State Capitol to showcase Nebraska's State Colleges.

The Court Services Division of the Nebraska Judicial Branch will celebrate Nebraska Trial Court Week with a display in the first floor rotunda from March 20 - 24, 2023.

The Nebraska Music Educators Association will host a series of noontime concerts in the 2nd floor rotunda from March 20 - 23, 2023. Various musical groups from schools across Nebraska will perform each day at 12:00 and 12:30 p.m.  the public is invited to attend.
