SUMMARY:9-11 Remembrance
DESCRIPTION:Weather permitting\, the Lincoln Fire and Rescue and Lincoln Police Departments will hold a remembrance ceremony on the north plaza of the Capitol from 8:00 – 9:30 a.m. to honor those who perished in the attacks of September 11th. The ceremony will include Honor Guards\, LFR ladder trucks suspending a large American flag\, the lowering of the Capitol’s United States flag to half staff\, a moment of silence and the ringing of a bell at 8:59 a.m. when the firs tower fell.
