DESCRIPTION:There will be a series of events on the exterior of the Nebraska Capitol and the Capitol tower will be lit with blue light to draw attention to the crime of human trafficking the weekend of January 9 – 11\, 2026. On Friday January 9\, the Set Me Free Project will have speakers and a presentation from 5)) – 6:00 p.m. On Saturday January 10\, I’ve Got a Name will have speakers and a presentation on the West Plaza from5:30 – 6:30 p.m. and on Sunday January 11\, the Set Me Free Project will gather at the Capitol from 1:30 – 2:30 p.m. The public is welcome to attend the events.
