DESCRIPTION:The Governor’s Office is hosting the official state Christmas tree lighting ceremony in the 2nd floor rotunda of the Nebraska State Capitol. Prelude music will begin at 1:00 p.m. when the Capitol opens to the public and the ceremony will begin at 1:30 p.m. Following the lighting ceremony\, the Governor and Mrs. Pillen will host a Hometown Christmas at the Governor’s Residence.
