Legislative Session Begins

Wednesday January 3, 2018 the Second Session of 105th Legislature convened at 10:00 a.m. For information about the Legislature please go to their website. There you will find the Legislative Calendar, ways to find and contact your Senator, bills introduced, committee hearing schedules, and everything else you will need to be an informed citizen and participant in your government. For those visiting the Capitol and the Legislature parking is always an issue. Parking can sometimes be found on the residential streets surrounding the Capitol, and downtown Lincoln has several parking garages relatively near the Capitol.

  • Saturday ⁄ Holidays: 10 a.m. to 5 p.m.
  • Sunday: 1 to 5 p.m.
  • Tours Available on the Hour
    (Except at Noon)
  • Open every day except Thanksgiving Day, the Friday after, Christmas Day, and New Year’s Day.
